Who We Are & What We’re About…
The Golden Hearts Charities organization was formed to create a forum whereby the members seek God, ask for direction to do good in the world where there is a pressing need, and reach as many people as possible. Then as the group is impressed by the Lord, carry out fundraising events based on how God leads.
The organization was formed by Ben and Jackie Scardello in 2017. At this time, the organization is focused on supporting and assisting Team Rubicon, a worldwide leader in disaster recovery. For more, visit teamrubiconusa.org.
Our mission is to follow Matthew 25:40 (AMP)
The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’
Our Formation
Golden Hearts Charities was formed for the purposes of advancing the instruction given to us in Mathew 25:40; The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’
The charity was formed as a 501(c)(3) in July 2017 under the name The Scardello Family Foundation, Inc. and operates as Golden Hearts Charities.

Ben and Jackie Scardello are dedicated Christians and live in Houston, Texas. Ben and Jackie met while attending TCU, got married, and began building their family. They have three daughters, great son-in-law’s, 5 very cute grandchildren (and still counting), and they still, live in the home where they raised their children.
